According to Insider, Idris Elba (‘The Wire’) revealed that his daughter had auditioned for ‘Beast’ to play Elba’s character’s daughter in it.
“But oddly enough, the chemistry between us wasn’t right for the movie.” As well, “My daughter hasn’t spoken to me in three weeks.”
