The film tells that on an important weekend in the early 1990s, Diana determined that her marriage with Prince Charles had broken down and was determined to leave the royal family and take her own path.

“Spencer” was shortlisted for the main competition unit of the Venice Film Festival and will be released in North America on November 5.
