The sex comedy ‘Good Luck to You, Leo Grande’ starring Emma Thompson and Daryl McCormack has released a teaser, and people reach middl
“Good Luck to You, Leo Grande” will stream on Hulu on June 17, and it’s described as “a comedy about love, lust, and fulfillment.”
The film tells the story of a 55-year-old widow, Nancy Stokes, who is desperate for adventure, human connection and sex, for the first great sexual experience of her life.
Husband Robert gave her a home, a family and a decent life, and he’s gone.
Now Nancy feels that “even some nuns have more sex than I do”, she has always been action-oriented, and has been a teacher, and is quite organized.
And so she began to implement the plan: After doing some research, Nancy hired a male prostitute in her early 20s (or, as he describes himself, a “sexual psychotherapist”), ready for a night of fun.
“Good Luck to You, Leo Grande” is directed by Sophie Hyde (“Animals”) and written by Katy Brand (“Psychobitches”). It has appeared at film festivals such as Berlin and Sundance.
