Ethan Hawke directed the documentary series ‘The Last Movie Stars’ released a trailer, focusing on the life and love story of Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward, a Hollywood celebrity couple, for six episodes, it will be online on HBO Max on July 21.
Martin Scorsese served as executive producer, and George Clooney, Oscar Isaac, Laura Linney, Zoe Kazan, Sam Rockwell and others appeared to recite historical interviews.
Newman and Woodward’s daughter contacted Hawke during the epidemic to direct the docu-series about the Hollywood star couple’s more than 50-year love story.
