A few days ago, the horror film “Candyman” supervised by the director of “Get Out” has been exposed to the official Chinese character trailer, starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen, the actor of DC “Aquaman” Black Manta.
The story of the movie is very simple. There is a terrible legend. As long as you say the name “Candyman” in the mirror 5 times, “Candyman” will appear in the reflection and kill you.
The film is produced and co-written by Jordan Peele and directed by Nia DaCosta. It is the “spiritual sequel” of the 1992 classic film of the same name.
“Candyman” will be released in North America on August 27 this year.
