“Moonfall” tells the story of a disaster that triggered a mysterious force that knocked the moon down from orbit and rushed towards the earth.

“Moonfall” will be released in 2022. Huayi Brothers has won the mainland China distribution rights of the film; the North American distribution rights are in the hands of Lionsgate.

Patrick Wilson plays Brian Harper, a disgraced former NASA astronaut.

“Moonfall” will be released in North America on February 4, 2022.
