Sinkhole” set the highest annual record of a Korean local film at the box office of 5.58 million U.S. dollars (about 36.12 million yuan).

It is only lower than the two Hollywood films “Fast and Furious 9” and “Black Widow“.

Sinkhole” opened last Wednesday, with a five-day performance of 7.77 million U.S. dollars, which is already the 8th highest in the Korean market in 2021.

The last time the Korean market performed such a good film was June’s “Black Widow“.
