According to media reports, Robert Downey Jr. and Matt Damon are currently negotiating to star in Christopher Nolan’s new film “Oppenheimer”.

Currently “Oppenheimer” has exposed two leading actors: Cillian Murphy and Emily Blunt.

“Oppenheimer” will be a World War II movie focusing on the role played by the American “father of the atomic bomb” J. Robert Oppenheimer in the process of manufacturing the atomic bomb.

Cillian Murphy plays Oppenheimer, and Emily Blunt is known to play his wife.

According to sources, Matt Damon played Major General Leslie Groves who led the Manhattan Project.

And Robert Downey Jr. plays the “villain” Lewis Strauss who is hostile to Oppenheimer.

The film was directed by Nolan himself and served as the screenwriter.

The script is adapted from the Pulitzer award-winning book “American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer” by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin.

It has been described as “an epic thriller that takes the audience into a thrilling paradox: a mysterious person must risk destroying the world to save the world.

Kylian Murphy will play Oppenheimer, the film is funded and distributed by Universal.

“Oppenheimer” is expected to start shooting in early 2022 and will be released on July 21, 2023.
