Emily Blunt is in talks to join Christopher Nolan in directing the new film “Oppenheimer”, she is expected to play Oppenheimer’s wife Katherine Puening, and Cillian Murphy will be partnered again after “A Quiet Place 2”.

The film focuses on the story of “Father of the Atomic Bomb” J. Robert Oppenheime. Cillian Murphy plays Oppenheime. It is currently scheduled to be released in North America on July 21, 2023.

Katherine Puening (nicknamed “Kitty”) is a German-American biologist, botanist, and member of the American Communist Party.

She and physicist J. Robert Oppenheime met at a party, and the married Kitty soon began an affair with Oppenheime.

One year later, the two married.
