“Red Notice” gathered the three major Hollywood superstars “Dwayne Johnson”, “Deadpool “Ryan Reynolds” and “Wonder Woman” Gal Gadot.
The film is directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, director of Skyscraper.
The production cost of “Red Notice” exceeds US$200 million. Just the three superstars’ pay, each got a super first-line price of US$2000W.

1.The plot of “Red Notice”
In ancient Egypt for more than two thousand years, ancient Roman commander Marcus Antonius gave Cleopatra three jeweled eggs as a wedding gift as a sign of loyalty.
Then the story turns back to modern times. Although two eggs were recovered, the whereabouts of the last one is unknown.
Agent John Hartley (played by Dwayne Johnson) went to investigate an egg in the museum.
Because 41 hours ago, Johnson received accurate information that the international art thief Nolan Booth (played by Ryan Reynolds) will come to steal the eggs.
After a fight, Booth still stole the egg and escaped.
Two days later, Booth returned to his home in Bali with the egg, but Hartley, his colleague Das and Interpol were waiting here early.
They arrested Booth and took the eggs into custody.
But “The Bishop” Sarah Black (played by Gal Gadot) secretly packaged the eggs and took away the genuine products, disguised as a commando.
The next day, Das approached Hartley, thinking that he was suspected of the theft of the real egg.
As a result, she imprisoned Hartley in a remote Russian prison and had the same room with Booth.
In order to get rid of his charge, Hartley had no choice but to cooperate with Booth to find the third easter egg together.
After a struggle, the two successfully escaped from prison and went to Valencia, planning to steal the second easter egg at a fancy dress ball.

Hartley and Booth entered the jungles of Argentina and found the third easter egg in a mysterious underground treasure house.

Booth handed over the egg and was handcuffed to a tree in the tropical rainforest by two people.
In Cairo, Hartley and Black handed three colored eggs to an Egyptian billionaire buyer, who gave the treasure to their daughter’s wedding.

Hartley and Black met Booth again on the yacht.

2.Comments on “Red Notice”
Looking at the whole movie, “Red Notice” is like a hodgepodge, with all kinds of dishes. It tastes good, but it has no special features.
“Red Notice” should have the blockbuster elements of this film.
Here you can see “Mission: Impossible”-style missions, “Indiana Jones”-style treasure hunting, and “Fast and Furious”-style action scenes out of gravity.
But all of its elements are only superficial, not like one of the movies to maximize one element.
The director tried to add some more innovative ideas to the action scenes.
For example, use a second-person perspective. For example, in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, you see your teammates feel the same, and you see the characters doing their actions.
Let the audience follow the protagonist and experience the excitement of the chase scene.
But this technique is not the first. In the “Extraction” produced by Netflix, the director pushed this to the limit.
A long shot of a few minutes with a second angle of view, coupled with Chris Hemsworth’s fist-to-flesh fight, is the correct way to open the second angle of view.
Therefore, when this perspective appeared again in the “Red Notice”, it did not give me much surprise.
And the script of the whole film is too routine.
If there is no last two reversals, it is estimated that the overall evaluation will be lower.
After all, the protagonist unfolds the plot in order to remove the suspicion, and Hollywood has caught a lot of it.
But Netflix clearly saw that this kind of popcorn was never sold in the movie plot, but the personal charm of the three superstars themselves.
Johnson is still the muscular man who looks serious, laughs from time to time and takes care of his fighting ability.
Ryan Reynolds didn’t even say it. Since turning over with “Deadpool”, the label “Talking Tuber” seems to be on him.
“The Hitman’s Bodyguard”, “6 Underground” and “Free Guy” released this year are all such roles without exception.
From the perspective of a movie fan, I still hope that Ryan Reynolds will perform another experimental film similar to “Buried”.
When the serious Johnson meets the stubborn Deadpool, this partner is like a coquettish girl meets a straight steel man in the whole movie.

Even Gal Gadot, who is the official match of the movie, also gnaws on this pair of CPs.
For me, the biggest attraction of “Red Notice” is of course the goddess Gal Gadot.
I don’t know if it’s because of the relationship with Ryan Reynolds, Gal Gadot’s role is also a bit ridiculous.
But this did not affect her charm in the least.
When the three protagonists stand together, she is always the most eye-catching one in a red dress. After all, no one dislikes beautiful women.

In general, “Red Notice” is a pure fan-directed movie.
There are big scene action dramas, the three protagonists also contributed a lot of laughs, and the last heavyweight cameo.
Fans who like European and American music will surely be surprised by this easter egg.
Although the overall plot and narrative structure of the film are very standardized, if you are a fan of one of the three starring actors, you can be satisfied with this film.
Because in this movie, they can play the greatest charm of their actors themselves.
I can believe that if I switch to other actors to perform such a boring plot, I guess I will abandon the drama halfway.
