“Winning Time: The Rise Of The Lakers Dynasty” releases Official Trailer, which tells the story of the Lakers Dynasty in the ’80s

A trailer for the HBO original series “Winning Time: The Rise Of The Lakers Dynasty” has been revealed. The series tells the story of Magic Johnson winning five NBA championships with the cooperation of coach Pat Riley and teammate Kareem Abdul-Jabbar after joining the Lakers in the 1980s.

Oscar winner Adrien Brody plays Lakers head coach Pat Riley, Quincy Isaiah plays Magic Johnson, Jason Clarke plays coach Jerry West (whose silhouette is the NBA logo), and John C. Reilly plays Lakers owner Jerry Buss.

It will begin airing on HBO on March 6 this year and will be launched on HBO Max on the same day.

The 10-episode series is run by “The Big Short” “Don’t Look Up” director Adam McKay, who directed one episode himself and actor Jonah Hill.
