There are two large-scale new films released in the North American film market this weekend, Hugh Jackman,
The science fiction film “Reminiscence” starring Rebecca Ferguson and Daniel Wu, and the action film “The Protégé” starring Maggie Q.
Both Daniel Wu and Maggie Q are Asian stars who came out of Hong Kong and are now in Hollywood.
“Reminiscence” was overwhelmed by word of mouth, and Rotten Tomatoes only had a positive rate of 43%.
“The Protégé” Rotten Tomatoes accounted for 68%, and the Maggie Q action drama was well received.

The sci-fi thriller “Reminiscence” directed by the creator of “Westworld” Lisa Joy (Jonathan Nolan’s wife) has lifted the ban on foreign media word-of-mouth!
At present, Rotten Tomatoes has only 43% praise rate, and the MTC average score is 48 (out of 100), and the response is not satisfactory.
Critics consider the work to be ambitious and strive to create a film noir atmosphere.

“The Protégé” is directed by Martin Campbell, director of “Casino Royale”, and tells the story of a female assassin revenge for her mentor.
