Judy Garland was born on June 10, 1922, so the film’s re-release was scheduled for June 5 and 6. The film will be released in 800 theaters across the United States.

It has been translated into more than 20 languages ​​and published in more than 20 languages ​​since its inception, and there are countless cartoons, movies, and stage plays based on the story of The Wizard of OZ.

Currently, Hollywood is working on a new version of “The Wizard of Oz‎”, which will be directed by Nicole Kassell, the director of the TV series “Watchmen”.

Garland’s version of “The Wizard of Oz‎” was released in 1939 and was a huge success. The new version of “The Wizard of Oz‎” is said to be a spinoff from the 1939 version.

Director Nicole Kassell also said in an interview: “The 1939 musical has become part of my DNA. I can’t wait to dance with the heroes of my childhood.”
