Based on the popular work “xxxHOLiC” by the well-known Japanese cartoonist group CLAMP, the manga-reformed live-action movie will be officially released on April 29, and the official footage of the film has been released.
The story of the film tells that “Kimihiro Watanuki”, who can see youkai, enters the shop of the witch alias Dimensional and pretends to be “Yuko Ichihara”. This store can achieve any wish, as long as you can pay the price.
Ichihara Yuko told Watanuki Kimihiro that as long as you can pay the same price, you can realize the wish “that you can see the yokai, and let the yokai not be attracted by your blood”.
The film is directed by Mika Ninagawa and written by Erika Yoshida. Ryûnosuke Kamiki plays the male lead Watanuki Kimihiro, and the female lead Yuko Ichihara is played by Yukie Yamamura.
“xxxHOLiC” will be officially released on April 29.
