Nicolas Cage said: “This opportunity is both interesting and exciting.” After confirming that he would play Dracula, he immediately began character research.

“I got a novel to read, it should be said that I have always been a fan of vampires. And I watched the performances of Bela Lugosi and Frank langella”.

From this point of view, Nicolas Cage has devoted a lot of effort to this role. The two actors he mentioned are well-known vampire actors on the screen.

Bela Lugosi is an outstanding figure in the history of Gothic cinema; Frank Langella became an international superstar with Edward Ge’s “Dracula”.

“Renfield” is adapted from the famous novel “Dracula” by Bram Stoker, known as the “father of vampires”.

In the vampire system, Renfield is Dracula’s number one supporter.

He lives in a mental hospital and ostensibly suffers from paranoia. In fact, he was Dracula’s servant.

Like Universal’s “Hollow Man”, “Renfield” does not directly tell the story of the vampire, but re-expands the whole story from another angle.

According to another report, “Renfield” will follow the adaptation of “Hollow Man” and move the background of the story to modern times.

At present, “Renfield” has no specific storyline and shooting dynamics, and no release schedule.
