Supernatural’s new prequel series ‘The Winchesters’ has released its poster and opens on October 11 on The CW.
The show focuses on ‘Supernatural’ protagonist Winchester brothers Dean and Sam’s parents John and Mary, described as “an epic, untold love story told from Dean’s point of view, how John met Mary, how they went out of their way to save their love, and also save the The whole world.”
Meg Donnelly stars as Mary Campbell, a 19-year-old ghost hunter, and Drake Rodger as John Winchester, a newcomer to the craft who has to form a team.
Dean’s actor Jensen Ackles serves as narrator, and he and his wife Danneel also serve as executive producers. The script was written by Robbie Thompson, executive producer of ‘Supernatural’.
