Pixar ‘Turning Red’ Releases ’emoticon’ Poster

News

Pixar’s “Turning Red” exposes emoticon posters, and Meilin turns into a red panda with various exaggerated expressions…

Earlier, Disney announced that after “Soul” and “Luca”, “Turning Red” will be directly on the Disney+ streaming platform on March 11, and subscribers will not need to pay any additional fees.

But “Turning Red” may still be screened in theaters in markets without Disney+, including mainland China.

This decision made Pixar employees feel that “it hurts money and hurts feelings”, and many people want to leave to other companies that can make animated films on the big screen.

“Turning Red” is directed by Domee Shi, director of the Oscar-winning animated short “Bao”.

The film tells the story of Meilin, a Chinese girl living in Canada, who has the wonderful “ability” to become a giant red panda when she is excited, and how much trouble it will bring to her growing up.
