The 79th Venice International Film Festival Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement was awarded to director and screenwriter Paul Schrader. Paul Schrader wrote the screenplay for Martin Scorsese’s ‘Raging Bull’ ‘Taxi Driver’, and other representative works include ‘Patty Hearst’ ‘Mishima: A Life in Four Chapters’ ‘Light Sleeper’.
