The new ‘Garfield’ animated movie was announced to be scheduled for a Northern America theatrical release on February 16, 2024.
Chris Pratt voices the Monday-hating, lasagna-loving Garfield, and Samuel L. Jackson voices the brand-new character, Garfield’s father, Vic.
‘Garfield’ is directed by Mark Dindal (‘Chicken Little’) and written by David Reynolds (‘Finding Nemo’), the two have worked together on ‘The Emperor’s New Groove’, the two worked together on ‘The Emperor’s New Groove’, and comic book creator Jim Davis executive produced. The film is produced by Alcon Entertainment and distributed by Sony Pictures.
The ‘Garfield’ comic strip came out in June 1978 and follows the cynical, lazy orange cat as he interacts with his owner Jon Arbuckle and his adorable dog Odie
