Hunter Schafer Joins ‘The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes‎’ as Tigris Snow

Hunter Schafer (‘Euphoria’) joins ‘The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes’, a prequel to the ‘The Hunger Games’ series, as Tigris Snow, the cousin and confidant of lead actor Coriolanus Snow Snow, who advises him in various aspects such as being a mentor and moral guide.

The film stars Tom Blyth as Snow, Rachel Zegler as Lucy and Josh Andrés Rivera as Sejanus Plinth, Snow’s close friend and mentor of the Second District Tribute.

‘The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes’ is adapted from the new book of the same name by original author Suzanne Collins and is set several years before Coriolanus Snow becomes the tyrant president of the Giving State. 18-year-old Snow is handsome and charming, and although his family is in decline and in a difficult situation, he sees A chance to change his fate: he is chosen to be a mentor for the 10th Hunger Games.

Snow is sent to mentor Lucy Gray Baird, a girl from the impoverished 12th district, who provocatively sings at the harvest ceremony to get everyone’s attention.

Thinking they can turn the tables in their favor, Snow unites their instinctive showmanship with their newfound political skills in a race against time in a game of survival that ultimately reveals who is the songbird and who is the snake.

‘The Hunger Games’ series director Francis Lawrence returned to direct the prequel, the latest version of the script by Michael Lesslie (‘Macbeth’ ‘Assassin’s Creed’ ‘The Little Drummer Girl ‘) wrote, Michael Arndt (‘Inside Out’ ‘Toy Story 3’ ‘Little Miss Sunshine’) participated in the creation, next year November 17 Northern America release.
