Rachel Brosnahan will star in Helen Keller’s biopic “Helen & Teacher”, playing the role of Anne Sullivan, Helen’s teacher.
This biopic will focus on Keller’s young life: during her studies at Harvard Radcliffe College in the early 20th century, her vision gradually broadened.
As Helen matured and she experienced a sexual awakening during her academic adventure, the tension between her and her conservative teacher Sullivan rose.
“A Quiet Place” actor Millicent Simmonds will play the role of Helen Keller.
Simmonds is an American actress. She was born in 2003 and is only 18 years old this year.
Simmonds has a hearing impairment and she has always relied on hearing aids, which may make her performance more realistic.
The main photography work of “Helen & Teacher” will begin in the summer of 2022.
