“Eternals” North America Advance Box Office Ranked 3rd in the Year

The Marvel Pictures superhero movie “Eternals” received $9.5 million in box office early Thursday, second only to “Black Widow” at $13.2 million and “Venom 2” at $11.6 million this year.

As of the end of Thursday, “Eternals” had received $19.8 million in 39 overseas markets.

“Eternals” has dropped to 50% in the media freshness of the Rotten Tomatoes website, the lowest rated one in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The film’s popcorn index is 86%, which is less than 91% of “Black Widow” and 98% of “Shang-Chi”.

Twenty thousand people from IMDb gave “Eternals” a score of 6.8, which is the same as the score of Thor 2 in the MCU works.

The industry predicts that “Eternals” will have a box office of around 75 million U.S. dollars for three days over the weekend, which is about the same as “Shang-Chi”‘s 75.39 million U.S. dollars.

This year’s North American box office record was maintained by “Venom 2″‘s $90.03 million, and “Black Widow”‘s second-largest performance was $80.37 million.

“Eternals” outperformed “Black Widow” by 19% in markets outside of North America, surpassing “Shang-Chi” by 117% in the same period.

The film was released in South Korea for US$4.1 million for two days, leading overseas, followed by France with US$2.6 million for two days.

“Eternals” received $1 million at the box office on the first day in Brazil, setting a record for the first day of the epidemic era.
