Amazon is reportedly looking for a movie production industry executive to lead its growing entertainment division, reportedly trying to poach experienced Hollywood personalities from competitors.
Amazon Studios has spoken with several senior Hollywood executives about the position, including Scott Stuber, head of Netflix’s (NFLX.O) film division, sources close to the situation said.
Amazon is also said to have discussed a position with former Paramount Pictures president Emma Watts. The report said it was not possible to determine if talks were ongoing.
