Today, the famous Japanese singer Nakamori Akina suddenly opened her Twitter account and announced that her health has improved and she will restart her acting activities and set up a new solo office to prepare for the 40th anniversary of her debut.
She also set a photo as her avatar, in which she has long hair and a big smile.
Nakamori Akina was one of the most representative female pop singers in Japan in the 1980s.
In 1985 and 1986, Nakamori Akina won the Japan Record Awards for two consecutive years, the first artist to win the award for a pop song, breaking the record as the youngest winner ever at the time, and she was the first female singer ever to win the award back-to-back.
In 1987, she won her first Japanese Gold Record Award with the song ‘NANJINSEN’. She won the annual record sales title for a total of 4 years, a record that was not broken until 2015.
On October 28, 2010, her agency announced on the official website that Nakamori Akina has temporarily stopped her acting activities because her immune system has been weakened due to fatigue.
