This reminds people of the ‘Game of Thrones’, Daenerys all the way to fight the hardships.

‘House of the Dragon’ has already released scenes with Viserys’ brother Daemon as a contender, but the coming years will see the birth of more Targaryen – especially more male Targaryen. They will challenge Rhaenyra for the heirship.

Not to mention, Rhaenyra will have children of her own as she seeks to support her rights. Every child born will have an impact on the future of House of Targaryen.

Fortunately, not all births are as horrific or tragic as the one that killed Aemma-Targaryen in the first episode of ‘House of the Dragon’.

As the executive producer said in an interview with THR, “We have a lot of newborns on the show and basically we decided to give them different themes and explore them from different angles, like I did with the series of battles in ‘Game of Thrones’.”

With this in mind, Aemma-Targaryen’s death clearly shows that her life was not as important as a potential male heir.

For the women who stay, the next ‘House of the Dragon’ power struggle may be even more exciting than ‘Game of Thrones’.
