After losing her defamation lawsuit with ex-husband Johnny Depp, Amber Heard has repeatedly stated in public and in interviews that she cannot afford to pay the whopping $10.35 million settlement. Recently, according to media reports, Amber started borrowing money from her first-tier celebrity friends, but many of them did not respond to her.
The media broke the news that people with knowledge of the situation said Amber Heard has been on the phone with ‘Harleen Quinzel’ Margot Robbie, Kristen Stewart, and supermodel Cara Delevingne, with whom she kissed passionately in the elevator, to borrow money, but all were left cold and did not reply.
Previously, she sold her mansion in Silan Valley in order to raise the compensation money, but the amount of money she received was still far short of what she needed to pay the compensation, which put her in a serious financial crisis.
Her lawyer, Elaine Bredehoft, also announced her resignation from Amber’s legal team a few days ago because she couldn’t stand the public pressure.
