During the conversation Eric Davies said, “What have you heard recently about Henry Cavill. I heard a message – they asked him if he wanted to return to play Superman, but he didn’t want to do it, he didn’t want to come back”

Discovery Channel “loved Henry Cavill as Superman” and tried to bring him back whenever possible.

He said: “At the moment Warner executives do like him as Superman and I think they will try. Of course I could be wrong, I just don’t think they’ve taken the approach that would allow him to return. But it all depends on who is overseeing the DC Universe and who is responding to David Zaslav (the current Warner Bros. Discovery CEO). It’s been nearly a decade since we saw him in ‘Man of Steel’. But what I can say is that I personally don’t think it (Henry Cavill’s Superman career) is over yet.”
