Today (July 25), ‘Empire’ magazine named the top 20 best movies of 2022 so far, and ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’ won the first place.
The top 20 rankings are as follows.

‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’ is directed by Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert and stars Michelle Yeoh, Jamie Lee Curtis and Jonathan Ke Quan in the kung fu sci-fi film, which opens on March 25, 2022Northern America release.
The film tells the story of a middle-aged Chinese American woman who is suddenly told by her husband (“I am not your husband, I am another version of him in another universe”) that there are many universes in the world, and many “shes”. The fate of these “shes” is connected, and the fate of these many universes is now in the hands of this “she”.
2.’Top Gun: Maverick’
‘Top Gun: Maverick’ is an action film directed by Joseph Kosinski starring Tom Cruise, Jennifer Connelly, Miles Teller and others.
The film tells the story of Peter Mitchell, a top Navy pilot codenamed “Maverick” who, after more than 30 years of service, decides to break the system and takes on a challenge that requires great sacrifice to complete.
3. ‘The Worst Person in the World’
‘The Worst Person in the World’ is a comedy film directed by Joachim Trier, starring Renate Reinsve and Anders Danielsen Lie, and was released in France on July 8, 2021.
The film tells the story of a modern woman who is well-educated and eager to realize her self-worth, meets her true love, but disagrees with her lover over fertility issues and faces great confusion in her life at the age of 30.
