In addition to Sofia Boutella (“Kingsman”), Jena Malone (“Donnie Darko”), and more, there are Charlie Hunnam, Djimon Hounsou, Doona Bae, “Cyborg” Ray Fisher to join.

This Netflix sci-fi adventure tells the story of a colony on the edge of the galaxy threatened by an army, and desperate people send a young woman with a mysterious past on a quest to find warriors from a neighboring planet to help them gain a foothold.

Zack Snyder has said that this idea was influenced by Akira Kurosawa and “Star Wars”, and he hopes “Rebel Moon” will become a huge IP and create a new universe.
