According to the media “The Hollywood Reporter”, Pixar’s new animated film “Lightyear” will feature Pixar’s first same-sex kiss in animation history.
“Lightyear”, a spin-off of the animated film “Toy Story” series, will be officially released in June.
Recent media reports have suggested that the film’s character Hawthorne (played by Uzo Aduba) will be kissing another female character.
The love and intimate partnership between the two characters will always be presented.

But during the creative process, the conversation about the intimacy and kissing between the two characters was never able to unfold, although the role of the characters in the film was not diminished.
The kissing scene was officially included as a “Lightyear” feature last week after Disney faced criticism both inside and outside the company for its ineffective response to Florida’s controversial “Don’t Say Gay” bill.
“Lightyear” opens in North America on June 17.
