The new film ‘The School for Good and Evil’, starring Charlize Theron and Kerry Washington, has added a new actor. According to the film’s director Paul Feig, Cate Blanchett will join as the film’s narrator.

‘The School for Good and Evil’ follows a pair of best girlfriends, Sophie and Agatha, who discover that fairy tale characters go to a school for good and evil. There, ordinary young boys and girls are trained to become fairy tale protagonists and villains.

Sophie always wanted to be a princess and knew she would be chosen by the “good” school to become an alumna of Cinderella, Snow White and other predecessors; Agatha, who has a naughty cat, seems to be a good fit for the “evil” school.

And then they found a reversal of fortune, Sophie was absorbed into the evil school and Agatha into the good school.

In this thrilling, comedic story, the friendship between the two is tested and the only way to get out of the fairy tale is to experience the fairy tale from start to finish.

David Magee, who wrote the screenplay for ‘Life of Pi’ and ‘Finding Neverland’, and Laura Solon, who wrote the screenplay for ‘Office Christmas Party’, will write the film. The film’s director is Paul Feig, who has been known for making comedies for many years.

From this behind-the-scenes cast, Netflix intends to make ‘The School for Good and Evil’ a film with fantasy and comedy overtones.
