This year marks the 30th anniversary of the release of the classic Disney sci-fi movie “The Rocketeer”.
Recently foreign media Deadline reported that the company will develop a sequel “The Return of the Rocketeer”.
“The Return of the Rocketeer” will be produced or starred by “The Cloverfield Paradox” actor David Oyelowo, and the film will be launched directly on the Disney streaming media.
“The Rocketeer” is directed by Joe Johnston, director of “Captain America” and “Jurassic Park 3”.
“The Rocketeer” tells the story of Hollywood in the 1930s when a secret military weapon accidentally fell into the hands of Cliff, an arena pilot.
With this weapon on his back and a mask on, he became a “rocket man” of warriors.
The prototype of “Iron Man”?
