Antony Starr, who plays “The Boys” Homelander, was recently in Alicante, Spain, for a new action film directed by Guy Ritchie with Jake Gyllenhaal.

One night, he was drunk and beat someone in a local bar and was arrested by the Spanish police on the spot.

Antony Starr was sentenced by the court to 12 months in prison for wounding. He can avoid serving the sentence by paying the victim £4,141 within 72 hours and pledging not to commit an offence for the next two years.

According to the bar chef who clashed with Antony Starr at the time, Starr was “very drunk” and punched and kicked him, smashing a glass on his left eyebrow.

Antony Starr was then kicked out of the bar by the doorman and confronted the chef outside after the bar closed.

At this point Antony Starr threatened the bar chef in English: “You don’t know who you are provoking, you don’t know who I am, and you don’t know what you did. You made the biggest mistake of your life, I will find out You, I’m going to kill you!”

In the end, the chef was taken to the hospital with four stitches on his eyebrows.

Season three of “The Boys” is expected to begin on June 3, and it’s unclear if Starr’s actions will have any impact on the show’s broadcast.
