“The Batman” director Matt Reeves was recently interviewed by IGN, in which he said that in order to keep the content of the plot secret, they deliberately shot some fake shots to prevent key plot information from being leaked.

The worst rumor should be that actor Barry Keoghan will play GCPD police officer Stanley Merkel in “The Batman”, and the leaked stills further confirmed this statement.

But after the film was officially released, audiences discovered that he actually played a villain clown.

Regarding the previously leaked stills, Matt Reeves explained that those stills were specially fabricated to prevent the character’s intelligence from being leaked.

The GCPD officers are a huge part of the plot, so it makes sense to do so.
