But it’s worth noting that Rotten Tomatoes’ audience rating mechanism does not require verification of whether you’ve actually seen the show, and anyone can vote directly.

In comparison, the Netflix ‘Castlevania’ animated series received a lot of positive reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, with a Rotten Tomatoes fresh rating of 94% and a Popcorn Index of 88%, while the ‘The Witcher’ episodes also had a Rotten Tomatoes fresh rating of 81% and a Popcorn Index of 75%.

The two-star review by user “Ken C” says: “If you don’t know the original game very well, it’s good enough, it’s another interesting interpretation of the ‘Resident Evil’ backstory line.”

A user who claimed to be a die-hard ‘Resident Evil’ fan gave it three stars and said, “This is a very outrageous adaptation I’ve seen, it’s so disconnected from the original, even removing some elements of it, you can’t even tell it’s an adaptation.”
