The ‘Pitch Perfect Season 1’ episode released stills announcing that it will open on Peacock on November 23.
Movie series star Adam DeVine, Flula Borg will return to the series, Sarah Hyland, Jameela Jamil, Lera Abova new join.
‘Pitch Perfect Season 1’ is written and run by Megan Amram (‘The Good Place’ ‘Parks and Recreation’), with film creators Elizabeth Banks, Max Handelman and others serving as executive producers.
Set a few years after the film’s timeline, the story follows Bumper Allen (DeVine) as he moves to Germany to restart his music career after one of his songs becomes a hit in Berlin, and Piëter Krämer (Borg) becomes his manager.
Hyland plays Heidi, the duo’s spunky and eccentric assistant with dreams of becoming a singer-songwriter.
Abova plays Piëter’s sister, the famous Berlin DJ Das Boot and music producer.
Jamil plays Gisela, a flamboyant, up-and-coming German pop star and Piëter’s ex-girlfriend and Bumper’s main rival for the German Unity Day concert.
