On August 12, the digitally restored version of “Incendies”, directed by Denis Villeneuve, released its Japanese poster and announced that it will be released in Japan on August 12.
Incendies’ is a film released in 2010, which tells the story of twin siblings who follow their mother’s will and travel to the Middle East to find their father and brother whom they have never met, but accidentally discover their mother’s unknown secrets.
The film was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film at the 83rd Academy Awards, but ultimately lost out to ‘Hævnen’.
