The original novel of Kon Satoshi’s animated masterpiece ‘Paprika’ will be made into a live-action series, directed by Cathy Yan (‘Birds of Prey’ ‘Dead Pigs’) and produced by Amazon Studios and Hivemind.
The series is based on Yasutaka Tsutsui’s novel ‘Paprika’ of the same name and is described as “a character-driven science fiction series with a mind-bending narrative that focuses on a technology that can invade human dreams.” Cathy Yan will also executive produce the series.
