The entire manor has expanded its composition, and the appearance of photography and videography has become the highlight of the film.
The story of the movie version will continue the story line of the TV series, telling the life of the people in the manor and the changes of the times.
The main manor location will be moved to a manor in southern France. Behind the scenes, Oscar winner Julian Fellowes returns to write the script, while BAFTA and Emmy nominated director Simon Curtis helms the film.
Michelle Dockery, Hugh Bonneville, Elizabeth McGovern, Maggie Smith and more return to the cast.
As planned, “Downton Abbey: A New Era” will be released in the UK on April 29 and in North America on May 20.
