Recently, according to media news, Neflix’s new Chinese-language series ‘Copycat Killer’ released its pilot poster, hiding layers of clues to the murder case, starring Kang Ren Wu and Alice Ko, is expected to start in 2022.
Copycat Killer’ is a remake of the best-selling novel of the same name by Japanese mystery writer Miyuki Miyabe, co-directed by Jung-chi Chang and Henri Chang.
The story depicts a serial murder case in the 1990s in Taiwan, China. The killer follows the media chaos and starts to manipulate people and provoke justice, making the prosecutor (Kang Ren Wu), who specializes in murder cases, determined to drag out the evidence of the killer even if he has to stain his own hands and risk his life.
