“Morbius” topped the weekend’s Northern America box office chart with $39.1 million, according to media sources. Unfortunately, the film’s box office performance plummeted.
Analysts were expecting a 55%-60% drop in the second week at the box office, but the latest figures show a massive 74% drop to just $10 million.
In its second weekend in theaters, “Morbius” will gross $57 million in Northern America.
The film isn’t doing well in the global market either, although it has now surpassed the $100 million mark at the global box office.
