The 24-year-old actor Shinta Makensuke (“PacificRim: Uprising”, “Rurouni Kenshin: The Final”) starred in the Hollywood live-action film version of “Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac”, playing the protagonist Seiya.
“Jumanji” actress Madison Iseman plays Sienna, “Game of Thrones” male stars Sean Bean, “Phoenix” Famke Janssen also joined.
“Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac” tells the story of the awakening of the mysterious power “Cosmo” on the street orphan Seiya, who wears the ancient Greek Pegasus armor.
Seiya joins a supernatural war for the fate of Sienna, a girl struggling to control her sacred power.
“Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac” was jointly developed by Toei and Sony. Filming has started this summer and will soon be over.
“Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac” is expected to be released in the spring of 2023.
