Johnny Depp’s defamation lawsuit against Amber Heard has ruled in Depp’s favor. Part of the trial was broadcast live, including the verdict.

Heard was there, and Depp didn’t come because he had a gig.

The jury read out the details of the claims of both parties one by one, and chose “yes” or “no”. The jury 7 affirmed all three of Depp’s claims, believing that the contents of Heard’s “Washington Post” (without naming names) implying that he was a victim of Depp’s domestic violence, etc.) qualifies as defamation against Depp (many “yes”); three counterclaims against Heard deny two, affirming one of Depp’s former lawyers’ statements constituted defamation of Heard (with “yes” and “no”).
