Jennifer Connelly joins Apple’s new series ‘Dark Matter’, starring alongside Joel Edgerton.
‘Dark Matter’ is based on the sci-fi thriller of the same name by Blake Crouch and consists of nine episodes, with Crouch as writer, executive producer and operator and Jakob Verbruggen (‘Black Mirror’ ‘House of Cards’) directing the first three episodes.
The film focuses on physicist, professor, and family man Jason Dessen, who one night while walking home down a Chicago street is kidnapped into a parallel world where life is completely different from his role and where surprise quickly turns into nightmare.
In this baffling maze of reality, he embarks on a harrowing journey to return to his real family and save them from their most formidable, invincible enemy – himself. connelly plays Jason’s wife, Daniela.
