Jena Malone, Alejandro Edda, Tatanka Means, Michael Rooker join Kevin Costner in the new historical film ‘Horizon,’ which also stars Sienna Miller, Sam Worthington, Jamie Campbell Bower, Luke Wilson, and Thomas Haden Church.
The film is planned to be the first in a series of three films, distributed by Warner/New Line cinema, with Kevin Costner also producing and writing the script with Jon S. Baird (“Filth,” “Vinyl”).
‘Horizon’ tells the multifaceted history of the expansion and settlement of the American West in the 15 years before and after the Civil War, unfolding through the eyes of multiple people on an epic journey filled with danger and intrigue: from the constant onslaught of natural elements, to interactions with the indigenous people living on the land, and the determination and, in many cases, ruthlessness of those who sought to resolve the dispute.
