The relationship between Irish literary giant James Joyce (‘Ulysse’ ‘Finnegans Wake’) and his daughter Lucia Joyce will be made into a biopic ‘James and Lucia’.
Starring Rupert Friend (‘Homeland’) and Evanna Lynch (‘Harry Potter’) and directed by Robert Mullan (‘Mad to Be Normal’), ‘James and Lucia’ will be sold at the Berlin International Film Festival Film Market.
The film focuses on James in his later years, when he is trying to protect his daughter Lucia, a dancer who has been diagnosed with schizophrenia and has been treated by Carl Jung.
