The ‘Yellowstone’ universe continues to expand: Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford will star in the prequel series ‘1932’ with a terrific cast.

The show, still created by Taylor Sheridan, is scheduled to launch on Paramount+ in December this year. It will introduce a new generation of Hendon family members and explore the western mountains plagued by epidemics, historic droughts, the end of Prohibition and the Great Depression in the early 20th century. The roles Mirren and Ford will play have not yet been revealed.

“Yellowstone” starring Kevin Costner. It has four seasons from 2018 to the present. It focuses on the Hendon family that controls the largest ranch in the United States. It has previously launched the prequel “1883” and the spin-off “6666” that is still in development.
