According to the official news of “Doctor Who”, Ncuti Gatwa will play the role of Doctor in the new season of “Doctor Who”, becoming the 14th Doctor.

Previously, Ncuti was best known for his role as Eric Effiong in “Sex Education”.

Ncuti Gatwa, 29, is also the first black actor to star in the series. Jodie Whittaker, now the 13th Doctor, will play the Doctor for the last time in this fall’s special.
