According to media reports, “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” will not be released in Saudi Arabia because the film includes a lesbian character and homosexuality is illegal throughout the Gulf.

In “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”, one of the protagonists is Miss America, played by Xochitl Gomez. In the original Marvel Comics, Miss America is a lace-edged character.

According to previous media reports, Miss America in the movie will follow the setting of the comics, and it is unclear how much Miss America will play in the play.

“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” is a fantasy film directed by Sam Raimi, starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, and it is slated for release in Northern America on May 6, 2022.
