The global hot-blooded anime “One Piece” previously announced that Netflix will produce a Hollywood live-action series, and now it has officially started filming. The “One Piece” live-action TV series is jointly produced by Tomorrow Studio and Shueisha.
A few days ago, it announced a new additional CAST, the four emperors “red-haired” Shanks will be played by British actor Peter Gadiot.
Peter Gadiot’s representative works include “The Forbidden Girl”, “Prada: Candy”, “Once Upon a Time in Wonderland”, etc.
He played the role of “Mister Mxyzptlk” from the Fifth Dimension in the second season of the CW superhero TV series “Supergirl”.
It is reported that this series will be co-produced by Eiichiro Oda, the original author of the comic, and the relevant person in charge of Tomorrow Studio.
The information that has been released so far shows that the first episode of the live-action drama is tentatively titled “ROMANCE DAWN”.

The previously announced cast includes: Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu Arata as Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Gibson as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Vinsmoke Sanji.
“One Piece” is a juvenile manga work created by Japanese manga artist Eiichiro Oda, which was serialized in Shueisha’s “Weekly Shōnen Jump” on July 22, 1997.
The adaptation of the TV animation “One Piece” premiered on Fuji TV on October 20, 1999.
This adaptation of the live-action series is expected to be 10 episodes. I don’t know if the final effect will satisfy the fans of the original work. Interested viewers are looking forward to it.
